Good to know

Which pack do I need?

The one for where your pots will go. Only a window? Windowsill. A balcony or a roof terrace? Balcony. A yard, patio or paved garden at ground level? Patio. Not sure what fits? Try What can I grow here? first.

Is it a physical book?

No. You get PDFs to download straight after you buy. They're laid out to read on a phone, with pages that link to each other, and you can print them at home.

Can I start now, in winter?

Yes. The Windowsill pack starts any month. The Balcony and Patio packs have eight winter weeks from November, so you're growing garlic, broad beans and pea shoots while you wait for spring.

How much will the growing cost?

Each pack has a shopping list priced at UK supermarkets and garden centres: about £15 to start small, or about £40 for the full plan.
